Widening Participation Eligibility - School/College
All our Widening Participation and Outreach programmes are subject to the Ïã¸Ûͼ¿âAccess and Participation Plan agreed with the Office for Students.
Secondary Schools
In order to be eligible for our Widening Participation and Outreach activities, your school must be state-funded, and meet three of the following criteria:
- Your state-funded school is non-selective
- Over 20% of the young people at your school are eligible for Free School Meals
- Over 30% of the young people at your school are eligible for Pupil Premium funding
- Over 30% of the pupils at your school are from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic backgrounds
- Your school is contextual at Level 2 (GCSE)
- Your school is contextual at Level 3 (A level)
Further Education Colleges and Sixth Forms
In order to be eligible for our Widening Participation and Outreach activities, your institution must be state-funded, and meet one of the following criteria:
- Your school is contextual at Level 3 (A level)
- Students from your institution are less likely to progress to Higher Education (HE) than the national average
